Singapore & Royal Caribbean Cruise

One night in Singapore city followed by a 4-night Royal Caribbean cruise (Spectrum of the Seas or Anthem of the Seas, subject to deployment) to Penang, Phuket or Kuala Lumpur — big-ship facilities, an Indian veg counter every day, and Jain meals available with advance notice.

5 nights / 6 days Route: Singapore (1N) – cruise to Penang / Phuket / Kuala Lumpur and back (4N) – Singapore From ₹95,000 per person, indicative

Day by day

Day 1
Ahmedabad → Singapore

Fly in and settle into the city

There is no non-stop flight from Ahmedabad; the usual routing is one stop via Mumbai, Delhi or a Gulf hub, landing in Singapore late evening or the next morning depending on the connection. Check into a city hotel near Marina Bay or Orchard Road for the one land night. If you land early, a short walk around Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion is an easy first evening.

Day 2
Singapore → Embark

Board the ship

Spend the morning in Singapore — Gardens by the Bay is a good half-day stop — then head to Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore by early afternoon. Embarkation is 3–4 hours before sailing, and security and immigration checks are thorough on these larger ships, so we build in buffer time, especially for elders. Explore the ship through the afternoon — the waterslides, ice rink and observation deck (on Spectrum/Anthem-class ships) are highlights — before the evening sailing.

Day 3
Penang or Phuket

First port of call

The ship docks by morning at Penang (Georgetown) or Phuket, depending on the season's itinerary. Optional shore excursions cover Georgetown's heritage streets and street food, or Phuket's beaches and viewpoints; both can also be explored independently by taxi from the port. Indian and Gujarati vegetarian food is scarce ashore in these ports, so most families eat lunch back on the ship or carry snacks. Return on board by the evening all-aboard time.

Day 4
Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) or a second port

Second port of call

Depending on the sailing, this day is either Port Klang (gateway to Kuala Lumpur, about 1 hour by taxi) or a second stop in Phuket/Penang on shorter itineraries. Kuala Lumpur excursions typically cover the Petronas Towers area and Batu Caves; it is a long day if attempted independently, so we suggest the ship's organised excursion for families with elders or young children. Formal night is usually this evening — main dining room dress-up and a photo session.

Day 5
At sea → Singapore

Sea day and return

A full sea day on the way back — pool deck, the FlowRider surf simulator, kids club, and an afternoon show. Pack the evening before disembarkation as bags are usually collected the night before for an early morning exit. The ship docks back in Singapore by early morning.

Day 6
Singapore → Ahmedabad

Disembark and fly home

Disembarkation is by allotted time slots; allow 3–4 hours to clear the terminal, reach Changi Airport and complete check-in for the connecting flight home. A short last-minute shopping stop at the airport is usually all the time that remains.

Stay: Meals: Breakfast on board
