દિવસવાર
Arrive and Srisailam darshan
Morning flight from Ahmedabad lands in Hyderabad by early afternoon. Drive directly to Srisailam (about 4.5–5 hours) to visit the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga and Bhramramba Devi Temple in the evening. The temple complex sits in a forested valley on the banks of the Krishna river. Rest at the hotel after darshan.
City tour and fly to the coast
Morning breakfast at the hotel, then a quick Hyderabad city tour covering Charminar and surrounding areas. Return to airport for the 3 pm flight to Madurai. Arrive by evening and drive straight to Rameshwaram (about 3–3.5 hours). Check in and rest.
Jyotirlinga and Dhanushkodi, then the temple city
Early morning Agni Theertham sea bath, then darshan at Ramanathaswamy Temple. After breakfast, visit Dhanushkodi and the Pamban Bridge viewpoint by jeep (scenic spot where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean). Return to Rameshwaram and drive to Madurai by afternoon. Evening darshan at the Meenakshi Amman Temple and a walk around the temple streets.
Into the hills
Drive from Madurai to Kodaikanal (about 3–3.5 hours). This is a sharp climb into the Western Ghats; the air cools as you ascend. Check into the hotel and rest. Evening at Kodaikanal Lake with a light walk around the shore.
Hill-station sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Pillars Rocks, Gunna Caves (Devil's Kitchen), and Pine Forests. Afternoon shopping at the local market for homemade chocolates, tea, spices and handicrafts — Kodaikanal is known for these. Evening free to rest or take a leisurely boat ride on the lake.
Return flight
Check out and drive to Madurai airport (about 3 hours). Catch the afternoon flight to Mumbai (2 h 5 m), then the connecting flight to Ahmedabad (1 h 30 m). Arrive home the same evening.
