Classic Combo — Singapore & Malaysia
Our most-booked international itinerary: four nights of Singapore's theme parks and gardens, two in Kuala Lumpur for the towers and Batu Caves, and one up in the cool of Genting — travelling between the two countries by a direct one-hour flight or an overnight-friendly coach.
Day by day
Arrive, Marina Bay by night
Land in Singapore by afternoon, check in, and walk to Marina Bay Sands for the evening light-and-water show and dinner. An easy first evening after the flight from Ahmedabad.
Sentosa full day
Cable car across to Sentosa. Universal Studios Singapore in the morning, S.E.A. Aquarium in the afternoon, Wings of Time on the beach after dinner. This is the longest day of the trip — start early.
Gardens by the Bay and Night Safari
Gardens by the Bay in the morning (Cloud Forest and Flower Dome), rest in the afternoon, Night Safari in the evening — the tram ride works well for grandparents who cannot walk the trails.
Jurong Bird Paradise and Little India
Jurong Bird Paradise in the morning, then an evening in Little India — Gujarati thali on Serangoon Road and shopping at the 24-hour Mustafa Centre before packing for Malaysia.
Cross into Malaysia
Direct flight to Kuala Lumpur is about 1 hour, or a coach along the North–South Expressway takes 4–5 hours with a stop at Malacca or a highway rest area — groups usually prefer the flight to save a travel day. Afternoon arrival in KL, evening at KLCC Park for the Twin Towers view and fountain show.
Batu Caves, then up the cable car
Early visit to Batu Caves — 272 steps up to the Murugan temple, dress modestly (a sarong is available on hire). Late morning drive to Genting Highlands (1 hour) and up the Genting Skyway cable car for the afternoon at the hill resort's theme park; it is noticeably cooler, so carry a light jacket.
KL Tower and last shopping
Cable car down after breakfast, drive back to KL. Visit KL Tower for a second skyline view, then Bukit Bintang or Central Market for a final round of shopping.
Fly home
KLIA is about 1 hour from central KL; leave at least 3 hours before departure. Most return connections are one-stop, so check the layover time when booking.
