Malaysia Only

Three nights in Kuala Lumpur, one up in the cool of Genting Highlands, and a day trip to Putrajaya or historic Melaka — good value and less crowded than Singapore.

5 nights / 6 days Route: Kuala Lumpur – Genting Highlands – Putrajaya / Melaka From ₹78,000 per person, indicative

Day by day

Day 1
Kuala Lumpur

Arrive, Twin Towers by night

Flight from Ahmedabad is one-stop (via Kolkata, Chennai or Colombo depending on the carrier); land by afternoon or evening and check in. Head to KLCC Park after dinner for the view of the Petronas Twin Towers lit up — the fountain show runs on the hour in the evening.

Day 2
Kuala Lumpur

Batu Caves and city sights

Early start for Batu Caves before the heat and crowds build — climb the 272 steps to the Murugan temple (shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed; a sarong is available on hire at the base if needed). Afternoon in the city: KL Tower for a second skyline view, and a walk through Central Market for handicrafts.

Day 3
Kuala Lumpur → Genting Highlands

Cable car into the hills

Drive up to Genting Highlands (50 km, about 1 hour) and take the Genting Skyway cable car — one of the fastest in the world — up to the resort at 1,800 m. Spend the afternoon at Genting's indoor and outdoor theme park rides; the casino floor is for adults only and not part of the family plan. It is noticeably cooler here, so carry a light jacket.

Stay: Genting HighlandsMeals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 4
Genting Highlands → Kuala Lumpur → Putrajaya

Back down, Malaysia's planned capital

Cable car back down after breakfast and drive to Putrajaya (about 1 hour from KL), Malaysia's administrative capital. See the pink-domed Putra Mosque, the Putrajaya lake and bridges, and stop at Putrajaya's boulevard for photos before returning to KL for the evening. Families who prefer history over a planned city can substitute a day trip to Melaka instead — ask us to swap this at booking.

Free morning, shopping

A relaxed morning — Bukit Bintang for shopping, or Islamic Arts Museum for those interested. Afternoon at leisure before the evening departure.
