Four nights is enough to cover Sentosa properly, Gardens by the Bay, the Night Safari and a shopping evening in Little India — the right length if Malaysia isn't on this trip.
Day by day
Arrive, Marina Bay by night
Flight from Ahmedabad lands by afternoon; clear immigration and check in by evening. Walk over to Marina Bay Sands for the free light-and-water show at the waterfront (typically 8 pm and 9 pm) and dinner nearby. Keep the first evening light after a long travel day.
Sentosa full day
Take the cable car from Mount Faber or the HarbourFront across to Sentosa. Spend the morning at Universal Studios Singapore (arrive at opening, 10 am, to beat queues), afternoon at the S.E.A. Aquarium, and catch Wings of Time on the beach after dinner (shows around 7:40 pm and 8:40 pm). A full day, best done with comfortable shoes and sun protection.
Gardens by the Bay and Night Safari
Morning at Gardens by the Bay — Cloud Forest and Flower Dome domes, then the Supertree OCBC Skyway if the children want the walkway. Rest at the hotel in the afternoon before heading to the Night Safari in the evening; the tram ride is the highlight for younger children and seniors who cannot walk the trails.
Jurong Bird Paradise and Little India
A gentler day: Jurong Bird Paradise in the morning, back for an afternoon rest, then Little India in the evening for a Gujarati thali dinner on Serangoon Road and shopping at Mustafa Centre, which stays open all night for last-minute buying.
Fly home
Changi Airport's Jewel complex — the indoor waterfall and shopping mall — is worth two to three hours if your flight is in the afternoon or evening; it sits right at the airport, so bags can go in early.
