Day by day
Arrive and Srisailam darshan
Morning flight from Ahmedabad lands in Hyderabad by early afternoon. Drive directly to Srisailam (about 4.5–5 hours) to visit the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and the Bhramramba Devi Temple. The temple sits on the Krishna river's banks in a forested setting. Evening darshan and rest.
City tour and fly to the coast
Breakfast at the hotel, then a quick Hyderabad city tour (Charminar and surroundings). Return to the airport for the 3 pm flight to Madurai. Arrive by evening and drive straight to Rameshwaram (about 3–3.5 hours). Check in and settle for the night.
Jyotirlinga and the ride to Trichy
Early morning Agni Theertham sea bath, then darshan at Ramanathaswamy Temple, the coastal Jyotirlinga. After breakfast and a change of clothes, visit Dhanushkodi and the Pamban Bridge viewpoint by jeep, viewing the spot where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean and the old rail bridge. Leave Rameshwaram by mid-afternoon for Trichy (about 5 hours). Check into the hotel upon arrival.
Srirangam and return
Morning darshan at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam, the largest functioning Hindu temple complex in the world with seven concentric prakaras. Afternoon drive to Madurai (about 2–2.5 hours) for Meenakshi Amman Temple darshan and local shopping. Return to Trichy for the evening and late-night flight back to Ahmedabad.
