Day by day
Arrive
Fly to Tbilisi and take a private transfer to the hotel.
Two capitals
Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli and the Holy Trinity Cathedral in the morning. Afternoon in Old Tbilisi with the Narikala cable car, the sulphur baths and the hidden waterfall.
Wine country
Badiauri bread and cheese, Sighnaghi and the Bodbe convent, with an optional winery tasting. Back to Tbilisi.
Cave town to the mountains
The Uplistsqaro rock-cut town near Gori, then Ananuri fortress and on to Gudauri. Free time at the Friendship Monument with its Caucasus views. Night in Gudauri.
Gergeti church
Short drive to Stepantsminda and a 4x4 to Gergeti Trinity Church, then the Dariali gorge near the Russian border, and back to Tbilisi.
Fly home
Check-out at noon and airport transfer.
