Day by day
Arrive in Tbilisi
Fly to Tbilisi via a Gulf hub or Delhi. Private transfer to the hotel (check-in from 3 pm). Evening free on Rustaveli Avenue.
Two capitals
Walking tour of Old Tbilisi: Metekhi church, cable car to Narikala fortress and the Mother of Georgia, Abanotubani sulphur baths and Leghvtakhevi waterfall. Afternoon in Mtskheta at Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Evening tram or funicular to Mtatsminda Park for the city view.
The Caucasus road
Ananuri fortress and the Zhinvali reservoir, the Gudauri Friendship Monument viewpoint, then Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), where you switch to a 4x4 to reach Gergeti Trinity Church under Mount Kazbek. Return to Tbilisi in the evening (about 150 km each way).
The City of Love
Drive about 90 km to Kakheti, stopping for bread and cheese at Badiauri village. Sighnaghi's walls and views, the Bodbe convent, and an optional winery visit. On the way back, see the Chronicles of Georgia monument.
Fly home
Free time until check-out at noon, then a private airport transfer.
