Bali Family Villa

Built for a joint family or two Gujarati families travelling together: one large 4–6 bedroom private villa with its own vegetarian cook as the base for the whole trip, with day trips out to Ubud's sights, the coast and the temples rather than repeated hotel check-ins. This is the itinerary we recommend most often for a multi-generation group.

7 nights / 8 days Route: Ubud (villa base) with day trips From ₹1,10,000 per person, indicative

Day by day

Day 1
Ahmedabad → Denpasar → Ubud

Arrive at the family villa

Fly Ahmedabad–Delhi/Mumbai, then onward via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok to Ngurah Rai Airport; most connections land by late afternoon. e-VOA QR scan on arrival, then a private car (or two, depending on group size) to your 4–6 bedroom villa in the Ubud area. The villa's dedicated vegetarian cook, arranged in advance, prepares the first home-style dinner tonight.

Day 2
Ubud

Settling in and the rice terraces

A relaxed first full day — morning at the Tegallalang rice terraces before the crowds, back at the villa by early afternoon for the pool and a home-cooked lunch. This slower pace on day two works well for grandparents adjusting to the heat and the flight.

Day 3
Ubud

Monkey Forest and the ridge walk

Morning visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, followed by an easy walk along the Campuhan Ridge for those who want it — entirely optional, with the villa pool as the alternative for anyone who prefers to rest. Home-cooked dinner at the villa.

Ulun Danu Beratan

Lake temple day trip

Full-day private car trip north to the Ulun Danu Beratan lake temple near Bedugul, with a stop at a spice plantation for a coffee and tea tasting on the way. Sarongs provided at the temple gate. Return to the villa for dinner by early evening.

Day 5
Tanah Lot / Uluwatu

Temple sunset and Kecak dance

Afternoon drive to Uluwatu for the clifftop temple views and the evening Kecak fire dance performance — a good outing for children, who generally enjoy the fire and drumming. Return to the villa for a late dinner, or stop en route at an Indian restaurant in Seminyak for those who prefer to eat out that evening.

Day 6
Tanjung Benoa

Beach and water sports day

Full-day trip down to Tanjung Benoa for optional water sports — parasailing, banana boat, jet ski and a glass-bottom boat to a turtle sanctuary — with a beachfront lunch. Return to the villa in the evening for a home-cooked dinner and a relaxed last full evening together.

A flexible last day — Tegenungan Waterfall for those who haven't had enough walking, or a full day at the villa pool for those who have. Farewell dinner prepared by the villa cook, with the whole group together one last time.

Per person, twin sharing

Per person on twin/multi-sharing in a 4–6 bedroom villa split across 8–12 travellers, indicative for 2026, including flights from Ahmedabad and the dedicated villa cook.
